Author of the best-selling book “Changing the Game: The Parents Guide to Raising Happy, High Performing Athletes,” John O’Sullivan will share his wealth of practical, hands-on knowledge garnered through years of working with players and their families on sport specific development, fitness and nutrition, college recruiting, and training high-performing athletes by creating a player-centered environment. Ohioana Author Panel
April 21, 5 pm, Upper Arlington Public Library, Main Library
Ohioana featured authors Amit Majmudar (Ohio Poet Laureate), Mindy McGinnis, and David Meyers visit the library to answer questions on a moderated panel about writing and publishing. After the moderated portion of the discussion, they will take questions from the audience. Authors will be available to sign books afterwards. This will be a free event. Golden Bear Rock Fest
April 23, 7-11 pm, St. Agatha Monseigneur Kennedy Center
The Upper Arlington Alumni Association’s Golden Bear Rock Fest began in 2012 as an event to benefit both UA Alumni Association and spotlight popular 60’s garage bands. This year’s musical guests will be Temple Monkey and The Majestics. Ticket price covers admission to the party. Cash bar and food are available. Ages 21 and over only, $25 per ticket with sponsorships available. Tickets are available for purchase at the Golden Bear Rock Fest website.
